2008 Highlights:

		*December* 13, *2008: Happy Birthday* *Jesus! Our sincere appreciation* *to all who*
		*participated in the 6th Annual CHRISTmas Celebration. God was glorified* by the faithfulness, obedience and sacrificial service of the many who shared in the Joy of Celebrating the Reason for the Season, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! An estimated 800+ were in attendance, kids and volunteers alike**!

		*November 2008: We were back to a more routine schedule this month at OCC.*
		*Numbers are approaching 400 on a weekly basis with 11 routes running. WTLN* *highlighted OCC as their "featured" ministry, partnering with us to raise the* *needed funds to sponsor the 6th annual OCC CHRISTmas Celebration. God* *continues to bless us with new volunteers as we have had to say goodbye to some of* *our faithful. Several teaching positions are open for those who are seeking!*

		*October 2008:* *Our 2nd Annual Day In the Park was a huge hit with the kids and*
		*volunteers alike; Summit's NiceServe9 brought new ministry partners and many* *blessings; We added our eleventh bus route bringing kids in from Winter Garden;* *God continues to reach kids through the faithful volunteers serving Him in OCC!*

		*September 2008:* *Team Impact made a special OCC appearance; Our numbers are*
		*climbing, expanding God's reach into the darkest places in Centrral Florida;*

		*August 2008:* Summer ended with 600+ blessed studen**ts going back to school with a
		*new backpack and supplies* *& we are so thankful for the faithful that were* *God's* *hands and feet in His provision!* *In addition, over 150 went back to school* sporting new haircuts compliments of The Paul Mitchell School! And, FBCM Children's Ministry presented "Outrigger Island" to a packed house, giving God all the Glory for the great things He continues to do in the lives of all those involved in OCC!**

		*July 2008:* *VBS & Summer FUN is in full swing; lots of new volunteers are coming***
		*to check us out; Harbor City Baptist blessed us through their puppet ministry; The* *shed is nearing completion; We are praising the Father for His good and perfect will!*

		*June 2008:* Summer kicked off with our 2nd OCC baptism service, a joyful occasion**
		*and blessing for all!* *We have also been blessed by a bountiful harvest of* *visiting* *volunteers including a Summit Connect Group; Covenant Community Youth; CrossroadsACCESS218, Jacksonville,FL; Impact Movement; Fellowship Baptist; and the Phillips family on vacation from Bailey,CO***!

		*May 10, 2008:* *Summit* *niceServe8 and Lee Middle FCA came as the Lord's provision*
		*for mentors on this high attendance day at OCC; nothing sweeter than to see God's* *people loving on His children, giving them hope beyond their circumstances by* *sharing the Truth of who we are in Christ Jesus.*

		*May 3, 2008:* *Unto Him Ministries rocked the house with song and praise, puppet-*
		*style! Our kids are so blessed by the faithful followers of Jesus Christ, who share His* *love in a most special and fun way! Praise Be To God!*

		*April 19, 2008:* *Kids on Mission from First Baptist Oviedo came and blessed OCC*
		*today with an awesome presentation of the Good News! 10 of our elementary aged* *kids counseled after the presentation, a glorious day for the kingdom!*

		*March 22, 2008:* *He Is Risen! Hallelujah! 350+ kids and volunteers shared the Good***
		*News of Easter so that all might know Him, It Is Finished! VICTORY!*

		*March 1,* *2008:* *NiceServe7 overflowed with Christ like love, sacrificial service and*
		*blessings for all who participated. To God Be The Glory when the church comes* *together in humble obedience & faithfulness, Making a difference for the Kingdom!*

		*February 23, 2008:* *1st* *Baptist Oviedo Youth shared the Good News with our kids*
		*doing* an *awesome job* *with skits, puppets &* songs. It does the heart good to see kids reaching kids with the Life changing message of Jesus Christ. Thanks FBCO Youth!**

OCC was abundantly blessed with a 6th year of casting the net
in Central Florida, bringing in children each week who are
hungry for the hope of Jesus Christ! As we celebrate this season
of Advent, we are thankful for all that His has done in us and
through us to expand the borders of His Kingdom here on earth!
