We have settled in our fall Routine; Attendance is hovering around 340 students each week; Volunteer groups are coming frequently; Most critical positions are filled on a regular basis; And prayers are continually lifted up for the Lord’s provision of the financial resources needed to underwrite operational expenses.

2009 Highlights

What Did Summer Look Like at OCC? Boomerang Express VBS; Summer Fun Days; High School DR Mission Trip; Pop Shop Hip Hop; Back-To-School Backpack Event; Hundreds of new kids and a bunch of new volunteers and partners; All for His Glory!
OCC with huge help from our partners Summit Church (650), First Baptist Oviedo/Feed The Children (100) , Harbor City Baptist (30), Jewitt Physical Therapy, and several families and volunteers, gave out 900 backpacks to children from all over Central Florida! Thanks for impacting the lives of these kids, it truly does make a difference!
OCC has extended its reach into Chuluota, bringing the winged fleet to an even dozen!

10 OCCer’s were baptized in April at our Easter Celebration! Hundreds were blessed with the Good News: He is Risen! A special thanks to Karen and her departments for the easter basket donations and the 3500 eggs that came from Summit connect groups and other generous individuals!
17 from MSHS will be heading to the DR in July to serve on OCC’s first mission trip!
Congratulations to Daniel & Steph who were married in January!
Many of our ministry partners have returned to serve and bless our kids: First Baptist Oviedo, Kids on Mission; ACCESS218; Summit NiceServe & many Summit Connect Groups; Annunciation Academy NJHS; Summit Surge; Consecrate Orlando; as well as many local church groups and community partners!
We have had to say so long to a few of our long time volunteers who have left our presence on Saturdays but not our hearts and prayers! Praise & Prayers for Larrisa back in PA; Rebecca in Tampa; Matt Q. who is getting married; Lorraine, Kylee, Erica, Joel, & Mike, who are taking sabbaticals.

The summer months brought increased attendance, added expenses and a
